Hi list,
when I mount a fat partition at boot up (with /etc/fstab), the
partition/mount point will be read only for the normal users. I
specified explicitely the rw option in fstab but the mount point
remained read only. Then I tried chmod a=rwx <mountpoint> as root but
the mount point remained read only.
I currently use 3.1 FreeBSD Release and intend to upgrade to 3.2. Is
there any possible risk of loosing the installation?
If anybody does know any answer to both problems, I would gratefully
appreciate if he/she could share it with me.
Thanks in advance,
Lukas
