ZFS: i/o error - all block copies unavailable ZFS: can't read object set for dataset u ZFS: can't open root filesystem gptzfsboot: failed to mount default pool zroot FreeBSD/x86 boot Default: zroot: boot: boot: status pool: zroot boofs: zroot/ROOT/defualt config: NAME STATE zroot ONLINE mirror ONLINE gtpid/E17....... ONLINE gtpid/e26...... ONLINE FreeBSD/x86 boot Default: zroot: boot +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ An added fact that I should have stated but did not think would cause an is= sue. When the reboot failed I pulled an additional mirror TANK and cabled up my SATA DVD-RW to boot and re-install the boot loader as I did not have a USB stick to boot from. Since efforts so far have not corrected my issued I reconnect all SATA devi= ces Remove the DVD-ROM and added back the mirrored tank pool all I assure you to the same SATA ports. Interestingly on boot I get the same error I described originally but runni= ng status at the boot prompt causes a BTX error - image attached. I don't know one has noticed ada2 is a SSD which I have for ZIL/L2ARC could that cause a problem? I am perplexed why when I boot a head or 10stable ISO and am in single user mode that the OS does not find any ZFS partitions. I can apply patches, build ISO's on another machines to help troubleshoot but this issue seems to be prevalent and random for a long time since 8.x Regards, --mikej boot: status with the non-root mirror tank attached If the attachment doesn't make it http://216.26.158.189/btx-error.JPG GoPai.com | Facebook.com/PaymentAlliance CONFIDENTIALITY NOTE: This message is intended only for the use of the individual or entity to whom it is addressed and may contain information that is privileged, confidential, and exempt from disclosure under applicable law.
