Hi,

I'm not sure I understand the problem.  What is meant by an unnumbered PPPoE
connection ?

It seems like the originator is suggesting that the IP number assigned to
the interface (say 1.2.3.0) should not be used as the alias IP number.  If
not, can I see some log file examples ?

Perhaps rather than ``nat alias 1.2.3.1'' we just need ``set ifaddr 1.2.3.1'' ?
