If, as you said above, you have everything on one partition, then obviously you cannot mount /home, as it isn't a partition in it's own right. According to David Kirchner above : "/etc/exports only works for mount points - that is, /home must be its own mountpoint rather than a directory of another drive." Which basically means that it won't work for /home if /home is not a partition/mountpoint in it's own right. Can you please reply to one thread rather than starting a new thread with each question about the same subject? It makes it much much easier to follow what is being said if you do :+) Hope this helps somewhat...
