Then we're in agreement on what an X.0 release should be. I'm genuinely glad we understand each other, and would suggest that a note similar to the above in the release notes/announcement would greatly improve the new user's understanding of what X.0-RELEASE is and is not suited for/aimed at. But (there's always a but), it should be simple to find out how to upgrade from the previous release.
