If you want to learn more about Freebsd I suggest you do the following:-

1) Purchase a copy of Freebsd from www.cdrom.com
2) Purchase a copy of Greg L 's Freebsd Book
3) Subscribe to the Freebsd Mailing List
4) Start a project in Freebsd (For example:- Setup a quake2 server, setup a
squid proxy etc)

That is the only way you will learn. Not for example seating in lectures
learning about the theory of OS.

Hope that can be of some assistance.
