No.  I was simply addressing the backhanded putdown of code that
works in the context of ``we don't want a new "inherrently broken
by design" subsystem again''.

The current VFS code meets that criteria.  I can phrase it another
way, if you want:

You don't want a new one... but you want to keep the old ones?
