Two copies of gst-inspect-0.10 are executing at the same time. The first always appears to take 6s of CPU time, and the second 31s. My machine is a Dell Inspiron 1300. My theory is that it's hanging because of the sound drivers. From what I know, the HDA drivers currently don't support recording devices, which is what I believe these GStreamer drivers are for. On the off-chance that the problem might be a library problem, I did a full reinstall of all my ports, and the problem still persisted. Disabling the sound card and reattempting the install doesn't help. I was able to force gnome-media to install by selectively killing one of the two gst-inspect-0.10 processes, so the problem may be down to a race condition of some kind, but I'd no such luck doing the same when trying to install totem. >How-To-Repeat: Install gnome-media. >Fix: No idea. I haven't been able to find anything so far. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
