I'd also like to see some more FreeBSD customization of some other ports, e.g. window managers which install a default list of applications which is linux-centered. Maybe I'll get time to do that one day :-( Maybe we could add this to the ports webpage: a note that if it's possible to customize your port to the freebsd environment (whether by changing default options, replacing a Tux with a beastie, etc) then you should do so.
