The motherboard has an ich4 audio controller. It is supported in both -stable
and -current, and will be in FreeBSD 4.7R. In the meantime, you can either
upgrade to -stable or copy the files from cvs or cvsweb before building a new
kernel with pcm enabled or just the kernel modules. The relevant files from
cvsweb are:

http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/~checkout~/src/sys/dev/sound/pci/ich.c?re
v=1.3.2.11&content-type=text/plain

http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/~checkout~/src/sys/dev/sound/pci/ich.h?re
v=1.1.2.3&content-type=text/plain

cheers
