I've been getting the same panic couple times.

In article <Pine.LNX.4.04.9902110933240.13093-100000@feral-gw>,
	Matthew Jacob <mjacob@feral.com> writes:
>panic: softdep_sync_metadata: Unknown type bmsafemap

I also got other types of problems during system shutdown (unmounting
filesystems):

* mfs process aborts with signal 11.

There were no coredumps nor diagnostic logs so I can't get any deeper
info.

* Hang after "syncing disks ... done" message.

I tried to check stack trace using DDB but no useful info could be
found. (Maybe, I need to know how to find the info about waiting
processes/threads).
