Hi Bill! I think it is a good idea. 8) If your changes only reorder the MASTER_SITES in apache1[23]-php3/Makefile I have no objections. If there are changes to apache1[23]-php3/scripts/configure.php I would like to review them. There are just too many pitfalls in there. ;-) Best regards Dirk On Sat, Mar 06, 1999 at 02:03:36PM -0500, Bill Fumerola wrote: > Brian Feldman and myself were talking the other day, and we noticed the > utter lack of mirror sites in our MASTER_SITES for the apache* ports, and > he sent me a patch to add some mirrors (amongst other things) > > I plan on committing this patch to all the apache ports, but I'm going to > do it in such a way that the master sites will logically be arranged like > this: > [...] > In other words, I'll be alternating between the apache and the addon, so > the user doesn't have to go through(and fail on) 10 apache mirrors, > before finally fetching the modification(php, ssl, fp, etc) > > If you have objections/comments to this method, please speak now or > forever prepare your commit to back this out. :> -- e-mail: dirk@FreeBSD.ORG To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
