I think it is a good idea. 8)

If your changes only reorder the MASTER_SITES in apache1[23]-php3/Makefile
I have no objections. If there are changes to
apache1[23]-php3/scripts/configure.php I would like to review them.
There are just too many pitfalls in there. ;-)
