X-Mailer: VM 6.75 under Emacs 19.34.1 Sender: owner-freebsd-scsi@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Hi, I'm having a problem with a SLR tape drive. I can't write more than a single file on it. Unfortunately, my experience with that type of tape is rather limited ... I haven't seen such behaviour with the DAT tapes I'm usually using. Can anyone give me an insight here? I'm using a newly installed FreeBSD 4.3-STABLE (from Saturday, shortly after release). Here's the dmesg output: FreeBSD 4.3-STABLE #0: Sun Apr 22 00:28:49 CEST 2001 ahc0: port 0xa400-0xa4ff mem 0xcb000000-0xcb000fff irq 7 at device 9.0 on pci0 aic7892: Wide Channel A, SCSI Id=7, 32/255 SCBs sa1 at ahc0 bus 0 target 11 lun 0 sa1: Removable Sequential Access SCSI-2 device sa1: 40.000MB/s transfers (20.000MHz, offset 15, 16bit) (sa1:ahc0:0:11:0): WRITE(06).
