However, when I use the xf86-video-ati-6.14.3 driver from the ports collection, I am unable to change virtual terminals. What I find strange is that the ChangeLog for this driver says it fixed evergreen/UMS VT switch and the Xorg log states my card is an evergreen card. I would like to test newer drivers before I give up. Does anyone have an idea of when the ports collection will include xf86-video-ati-6.14.6, which will be the last driver with UMS support?
