Hi... I'm looking for either a pointer to something that will give me the answer, or a suggestions on how to find the answer... The problem is that majordomo doesn't seem to work under FreeBSD... When I first installed it (v1.93), I made the mistake of compiling wrapper to be 'non-POSIX', which means that when I ran it, I was getting error messages back in email telling me to recompile it. After recompiling, I'm getting absolutely nothing. No error messages even being sent back to the sender stating that something failed. Now, my /etc/aliases entries, I think, are pretty standard and brain dead. Not doing anything weird with it, just straight subscribe and mail-out stuff... #/etc/aliases, a piece of it majordomo: "|/usr/local/lib/majordomo/wrapper majordomo" owner-majordomo: scrappy majordomo-owner: scrappy # # Info List # info: :include:/usr/local/mail/lists/info owner-info:scrappy info-request: "|/usr/local/lib/majordomo/wrapper majordomo -l info" info-approval:scrappy Basically, its straight out of the majordomo README file. So, everything has the appearance of being correct. Perl is 4.036, FreeBSD is 2.0.5R, Majordomo is 1.93... So, either I'm missing something totally obvious (highly likely), or there is a bug between majordomo and freebsd (least likely)... Thanks...
