I've heard good things about softupdates, but the README in the source includes the following remark: IMPORTANT NOTE: The Soft Updates code is currently in ALPHA test. Use at your own risk! Is this comment dated, and untrue? I'm running FreeBSD3.3-STABLE. I'm not fond of "alpha" filesystem code, as I was once bitten...
