I've installed from ports mysql-server-5.0.45_1 on FreeBSD 7.0 and see what happens: # /usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-server start Starting mysql. [mysql@dumper ~]$ #I will hit now CTRL+D [mysql@dumper ~]$ exit [root@dumper ~]# So, a shell from the user "mysql" is started, and boot process Doesn't continue till y "logout" that shell.. ¿What's happenning? ¿Any idea? Thanks a lot.
