I don't know about 5.0-RELEASE, but I just saw a message this morning on
-CURRENT for a heads-up regarding the check in of 802.11a and 802.11g
Atheros chipset drivers.

Apparently some initial testing has been done and the driver is usable,
but still has some 'issues'. Not sure what those issues are though.
