I'm afraid since the maintainer of this port is on extended leave from the
project we're not going to be able to fix this one without a patch.  I see
that you talked to wine's authors which is where a fix is likely to come
from if you don't work up a patch yourself.  If this is really an IPC problem
this is not a ports-related issue.
