Actually, I've seen this setup finish a "buildworld" in 75 minutes or so... but I'm just talking about the disk being fast. Hell, Josef, if what we're going for is overall speed, let's hook this disk up to an Adaptec 3940U2W and plug it into a quad-Xeon with 4GB or so of RAM. As long as we've got enough cooling, that ought to beat most everything else out there. Greg -- Gregory S.
