Tony,

The only card recognized in the dmesg (this is the message/log created at
boot, right?) is dc0.

I have not tried modifying /etc/rc.conf to reference dc1, because I figured
if dc1 weren't recognized at system boot (i.e., in dmesg) it wouldn't do any
good to try and bring the interface up via /etc/rc.conf. Am I wrong here?
Just in case, I'll add entries in /etc/rc.conf tonight and see what happens.

One other thing...I've tried recompiling the kernel with the line "device
dc". Do I need to do something like "device dc0" and "device dc1" (on
separate lines, of course)? My belief with the PCI cards is that the line
"device dc" should automatically enumerate all compatible devices. Is this
wrong?

-Matt

I dont know your level of knowledge so I'm going to start basic... have you
checked your dmesg to see if it see's the second card? have you modified
your /etc/rc.conf to show a dc1 and dc0? just a couple of things to get
you started.
