I recently removed a user form my FreeBSD machine without running the rmuser command. I deleted the entry in the master.passwd file, the passwd file and I deleted his home directory and all of his files (that I know of). I think that there are changes that I also have to make to the spwd.db file and the pwd.db file but I am uncertain. Whenever I try to change a passwd this is the message that I get from the machine:

Retype new password:
passwd: updating the database...
pwd_mkdb: corrupted entry
pwd_mkdb: at line #16
pwd_mkdb: /etc/pw.d11053: Inappropriate file type or format
passwd: /etc/master.passwd: unchanged

Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this problem
