I'm writing a SCSI HBA driver that simulates a bus with some ramdisk-backed disks attached to it. I've read through the HBA tutorial in Daemon News, but I'm still unsure how to tell the system about my pretend disk devices. I suspect part of the problem is that I don't actually have real devices or a real IO bus. Anyone feel like explaining this? Thanks. --nat -- nat lanza --------------------- research programmer, parallel data lab, cmu scs magus@cs.cmu.edu -------------------------------- http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~magus/ there are no whole truths; all truths are half-truths -- alfred north whitehead To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
