Yes. This most likely compiller + supplied STL issue. I am not sure what kind of .ps file curruption you expirinced but try LANG=C inkscape and see if it helps. I'll be able to check -STABLE issues not early this weekends. Btw, backtrace from the sf page doesn't look like actual crash.
