Dear Doug, as I posted some weeks ago, I had problems with my WangDAT 3200 connected at an AHA 2940. The DAT wasnīt detected by Linux since kernel 2.0.33. Today I followed the instructions from you in a recent posting and added the boot option aic7xxx=verbose:0x1ff39. And now my DAT is detected very properly with or without tape inserted in the drive. I have tested this with kernel 2.0.35 and pre-10 patch included as well as with the S.u.S.E. aic7890 boot image (pre-12 included). I donīt know why this funny things happen, but it works very well. Thanks a lot!!! If you need further debug information, please let me know.
