However, despite all the testing performed, bugs are still a possibility. I've just tested the command on my system and I see no issues (pkg 1.20.9). Which version of FreeBSD are you using? IIRC, all 12.x repos have been already deleted (maybe causing pkg to be orphaned) Best regards, pizzamig On Tue, Jan 2, 2024 at 5:37=E2=80=AFAM Stephen Montgomery-Smith < montgomerysmithstephen@gmail.com> wrote: > On 1/1/24 15:59, Luca Pizzamiglio wrote: > > The branch main has been updated by pizzamig: > > > > URL: > https://cgit.FreeBSD.org/ports/commit/?id=3D47564762a319a037686c921accbb8= 31db779715c > > > > commit 47564762a319a037686c921accbb831db779715c > > Author: Luca Pizzamiglio > > AuthorDate: 2024-01-01 21:53:32 +0000 > > Commit: Luca Pizzamiglio > > CommitDate: 2024-01-01 21:58:53 +0000 > > > > Ever since this commit, pkg version -v -P shows all ports as orphaned. > Does anyone have any ideas what might have caused this? > > Thanks, Stephen > > --000000000000f30445060df2abc1 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Hi Stephen

packages are = not yet built with this patch, so I'm inclined to assume there is no re= lation with it.
However, despite all the testing performed, b= ugs are still a possibility.

I've just tested = the command on my system and I see no issues (pkg 1.20.9).
Which = version of FreeBSD are you using? IIRC, all 12.x repos have been already de= leted (maybe causing pkg to be orphaned)

Best rega= rds,
pizzamig

Ever since this commit, pkg version -v -P shows all ports as orphaned.
Does anyone have any ideas what might have caused this?

Thanks, Stephen
