Are you using the version from the sysutils/ntfsprogs port? That is patched to deal with the fact that FreeBSD doesn't have block devices anymore and to align read/write operations to the media block size, which is required on FreeBSD.=20 Also if you want to mount the drive, use the fusefs-ntfs driver.
