The kernel was tuned for MAXMEM of 131*** something to deal with more RAM. FYI - before the modificaion the server was up'n'running with 4000 accounts onboard for almost 30 days. But the beast crashed yesterday (after the upgrade) with "panic: free vnode isn't". I've never seend this message before ... what does it mean ? What exactly went/is wrong ? Rashid
