Have a hard lockup on a 2 * PII/350 ASUS P2B-DS system (Linux 2.1.120, aic7xxx 5.1.0-pre10), if i use 1 interrupt for 2 * 2940UW and a 2940W. The onboard 7890 uses a different interrupt. Each scsi host has several disks and/or cd roms and/or tapes connected. Can reproduce the lockup after each reboot by fsck'ing a 10G fs. If let the 2940(U)Ws use different interrupts everything seems to be o.k. Did i miss that sharing of an IRQ by several aic7xxx driven host adapters isn't possible in SMP envorinments? BTW: a UP PPro didn't lockup in the same scsi host/disk etc. environment sharing 1 irq. Any hints?
