I'm having the fun of dealing with old ports compiled with my old g++ meshing badly with ports compiled with my new g++. Would it make sense to record the compiler used to compile C++ based ports so that when the system compiler is upgraded all C++ ports can be recompiled? -- - Alfred Perlstein - Research Engineering Development Inc. - email: bright@mu.org cell: 408-480-4684
