When I run install.bat on the CD-ROM, the process guides me through configuring the kernel. After I have done this the process runs through its startup where all the devices are either found at their addresses or they are not found. The last three messages are: changing root device to FD0C panic double fault syncing disks... and then the process hangs. I did not have this problem with FreeBSD 2.1. shouldn't the root device be found at FDC0 instead???
