Getting these in a 3.4-Release box: Mar 27 14:19:42 gate /kernel: ed1: NIC memory corrupt - invalid packet length 42 751 Mar 27 14:19:47 gate /kernel: ed1: NIC memory corrupt - invalid packet length 45 311 Mar 27 14:19:49 gate /kernel: ed1: NIC memory corrupt - invalid packet length 45 311 Mar 27 14:24:44 gate /kernel: ed1: device timeout Mar 27 14:25:00 gate last message repeated 2 times Mar 27 14:26:01 gate last message repeated 2 times Mar 27 14:37:17 gate /kernel: ed1: device timeout Mar 27 14:42:50 gate last message repeated 6 times Mar 27 14:42:58 gate natd[103]: failed to write packet back (No route to host) Mar 27 14:43:09 gate last message repeated 2 times A reboot cleared the problem, but what could be causing it? Actually, on a warm reboot I got an even stranger messages about not being able to find libraries and such (sorry, the messages don't seem to have been logged and the customer was um... anxious). So I turned off the thing completely, then powered back on and all seems well again.... for now. Any ideas? Cosmic rays? Bad SIMMs? Bad NIC?
