I don't use bacula actually, but, IMO, this problem is linked with
burncd's inability to work with DVDs. Try to install dvd+rw tools
and point bacula to use them.

Also try to contact with bacula port maintainer.

PS: freebsd-ports@freebsd.org is better suited for this question. =20
