/usr/src/sys/i386/conf/GENERIC does not get generated/compiled/etc, it's just a file. the GENERIC kernel gets cpmpiled/linked if you do a 'make kernel', and you should look for it so: cd /usr/src/sys; cd /usr/obj/`pwd`; cd sys/GENERIC danny To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
