But that isn't what I asked you.

I have 30 supersmack clients running in top -H when the test is running (if=
=20
I ran it with 30 clients anyway).

What I don't have is 30 mysqld instances (I had 3, as shown), and that is=20
what you made it sound like you had.

So if this is not the case, please clarify.

Or better...  post your top -H while tests are running as well as the=20

$ sysctl -a | grep 'ACPI'
kern.timecounter.hardware: ACPI-fast
kern.timecounter.choice: TSC(800) ACPI-fast(1000) i8254(0) dummy(-1000000)


Looks like I'm ok there (on FreeBSD/AMD64).
