By default error records are read through sysctl(3) and showed in a readable from. The -f option can be used to read records from a file in which the records have been dumped previously. Error records can be dumped to a file when -d is given. The -f option can be used to name the file. The default filename is /var/log/mca.log. Keep it unhooked until its buildable from within P4.
