I have not had any problems burning in the past. However, I now have the new device configuration using /dev/rwcd0c -> /dev/racd0c and /dev/wcd0c -> /dev/acd0c. So it appears that we now DO have an ACD device, whereas before we only had the WCD device. My problem is I have lost three CD's when trying to burn. Everytime the drive begins to blink (green) when it tries to fixate. This has never been a problem in the past and it still isn't a problem under windows :-(. Does anybody have an idea of what could be wrong here? I am running 3.1-STABLE as of 2-26-1999.
