https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D208538 --- Comment #3 from russo@bogodyn.org --- Yes, this system has FAVORITE_COMPILER=3Dgcc, and for various reasons has t= o keep it that way. Using clang by commenting out FAVORITE_COMPILER in make.conf = does let firefox build. Since there are so many ports (mostly libraries) that = I've had to compile with gcc48 for the development that happens on this machine, that's not an ideal path forward. I will also try gcc5, perhaps by specifying "USE_GCC=3D4.9+" during the fir= efox build. At least that I can force to happen for upgrades in /usr/local/etc/pkg.conf without breaking all the 4.8-interdependent librari= es. Perhaps this is worthy of a note in UPDATING? Not sure how many folks are still stuck having to force gcc ports builds in 9.x, but it might help. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
