            Bug ID: 205819
Summary: security/py-letsencrypt installation breaks if any
python dependency is previously installed via pip
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: koobs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: amijaresp@gmail.com

             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(koobs@FreeBSD.org)

Installing letsencrypt via ports is broken if a python dependency is previo=
usly
installed via pip install. A warning should be displayed, at least. Ideally=
, if
possible, the port should realize if the module is there because a pkg or p=
ip
install and do the right thing: (warn the user) or (pip uninstall && pkg
install).
