I have just migrated from the comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.* newsgroups to a set of these lists, so I apologize greatly if you have seen this message before on .misc. The question is, can I upgrade only the parts of my system I choose? I am currently running 2.2.1 and would like to run 2.2.2. I am completely unfamiliar with the workings of CVSup since I installed my first version of 2.2.1 from a purchased CD. Like can I download a configuration file for the CVSup program, tell it exactly what I want to upgrade (the kernel and anything that had any major mods done) and have it only download that? Thanks a lot for enlightening this matter for me.
