Hi ! on this PC (Pentium IV 2.8 GHz - MB Asus P4P800-VM - 1Go RAM - ASUS NVIDIA FX5200 - DVD ASUS - CDwriter ASUS - LAN on board : intel 82562ez lan) 1- installation of FreeBSD 5.2.1 by FTP failed : the kernel don't boot (kernel trap) 2- installation of FreeBSD 5.1 by CDROM succeed but network card not recognized, sound not rec ognized 3- installation of FreeBSD 4.9 by FTP succeed , network well recognized (module fxp) , but sound not recognized. on this PC (AMD 2.4 GHz - MB Asus A7V8X-X - 1Go RAM - ATI radeon 9200 - DVD - CDwriter MSI - LAN on board : realtek 10/100 ethernet PHY) 1- installation of FreeBSD 5.1 by CDROM failed immediately : kernel trap 2- installation of FreeBSD 4.9 by CDROM succed but freeze after "startx" Many Thanks for providing FreeBSD !!!!
