When adding a new user, if you add him to group wheel, he has the
ability to su root.

When running programs, especially those accessing the net, people
hacking in from the outside can usually only gain access to the same
files to which you have access. If you're running as root, this leaves
the whole system wide open. Running as a user limits the locus of total
destruction 8-)
