The installation did not work at all and I got a message saying "transfer write failed -1..." ...something like that. I got this message everytime it tried to install a different part of FreeBSD. I've ftp'ed all the directories that I think I need from the main site and put them on my DOS partition. I'm trying to install to a smaller partition I've set aside for FreeBSD. The frustrating thing is that I joined the mailing lists yesterday and someone got an answer for this exact problem. Of course, I had no idea what they were talking about so I trashed the message. ARGH!! So, if anyone would PLEASE be so kind as to send me that message if they still have it, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, in advance... Mike.
