Hi all,

I'm having a problem getting the Crystal Cs4281 audio controller to work on my toshiba sattelite 1730CDT

I keep getting the same error whatever i try as config

The extra options i have in my kernel are
device PCM
device CSA

i've tried to compile the kernel with
options USERCONFIG
but the device isn't showing up within boot -c

here is the output of my dmesg (showing only relevant lines)

uhci0: <Intel 82371AB/EB (PIIX4) USB controller> irq 10 at device 7.2 on pci0
uhci0: Could not map ports
device_probe_and_attach: uhci0 attach returned 6
chip1: <Intel 82371AB Power management controller> port 0x1040-0x104f at device 7.3 on pci0
pcm0: <Crystal Semiconductor CS4281> irq 5 at device 8.0 on pci0
pcm0: unable to allocate register space
device_probe_and_attach: pcm0 attach returned 6

you see there is the same problem with the usb controller

is there anyone who has a usefull sollution ? i've searched trough ever site/mailling list i could find nothing usefull for this problem.

hope to see some nice sollutions soon,

Greets
