Everything works fine, but reading /dev/dsp (cat /dev/dsp e.g.) gives some thousands of bytes output, but then totally crashes the system; it doesn't even break to the debugger when pressing Ctrl-Alt-Esc. It worked fine on my world&kernel from end december. - Willem cat /dev/sndstat gives: FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm) Feb 3 2001 12:56:43 Installed devices: pcm0: at memory 0xfedf8000 irq 9 (4p/2 channels duplex) Dmesg output about sound device: pcm0: port 0xf08c-0xf08f,0xf0c0-0xf0ff mem 0xfedf8000-0xfedfffff irq 9 at device 13.0 on pci0 And the obligatory uname -a output: FreeBSD jeremy.dyn.dhs.org 5.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.0-CURRENT #14: Sat Feb 3 12:48:10 CET 2001 wvengen@jeremy.dyn.dhs.org:/usr/src/.CURRENT/src/sys/compile/JEREMY i386 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
