I currently have one 4gig scsi drive devoted entirely to Freebsd. what I would like to do is install windows 98 on a seperate ide drive. However I currently have no support for ide drives installed in my kernel. Will vmware see a ide drive (i have it enabled in my bios)even though my kernel won't recognise it.Or will I have to enable it in my kernel?
