I've been trying to reproduce this issue, but even with portmaster things build fine on my testbuilder. I've tried * building the port as root using make/make package * building the port using portmaster as root using `portmaster net-im/py-matrix-synapse`. * building the port using poudriere all of which yield a perfectly fine port for me.
