Hi,

I found some time to hack the patch again, and removed the unconditional
dependencies I added.

I am patching the autoconfigure files with REIMPLACE_CMD to make the build =
skip
completely doc parts even for autoreconf.

Can you test it before the end of the year? I plan to commit this before the
next quarterly is branched.
