NO.

I am also using virtual mappings and have been for some time. These are
aliases which point to a group of valid email addresses. They don't work on
my system now.

postmaster: root 	does not work, none of them work. I've gone through the
sendmail.cf file and it looks exactly the same as the old one with respect
to aliases. I don't understand this.

I also have aliases like:

staff: bill, george, james

virtual mappings do not let one map to more then one mail address.

HELP HELP HELP .!!!!!!!
