Hello Anders. I having trouble with nessus: when I scan a machin into my LAN it works right, locates the machine, test it and all is ok, however, when I try to access a machen outside my LAN, nessus finishes scanning too quickly, telling me that the machine is unreachable or has no problems, but the machine is perfectly reachable (I can ping and telnet it). I have detected the problem (maybe ?), I launched "tcpdump" on the nessus machine and the output told me that nessus was sending packets with TTL equal to 0. But, why? the NASL file is ok! (ip_ttl: 0x40). Have you noticed this before ? Any suggestions or solutions ? Thanks in advance. Jose Luis. ______________________________ José Luis Arbona IBM GLOBAL SERVICES, S.A. Avda.
